Yvonne Wong, Senior Physiotherapist
Always an active person who enjoys helping others, Yvonne never saw herself being able to work a desk job. Together with her passion for anatomy and elimination of careers involving sedentary work, she found herself pursuing Physiotherapy as a career.
After her A levels, Yvonne secured a MOH scholarship and studied at Nanyang Polytechnic’s Physiotherapy course. She then furthered her studies and graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy with honours from Trinity College of Dublin.
Upon graduation, Yvonne embarked on her public sector service in the National University Hospital (NUH) in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. This includes the medical surgical team, outpatient spine clinic, inpatient orthopaedics and high spinal cord injury outpatient service.
Yvonne is passionate about post hip and knee replacement recovery. She also has passion for knee, neck and lower back pain management.
As an active and adventurous (she loves to hike!) person, she advocates for a healthy lifestyle and living. She strongly believes that patient education in this aspect empowers her patients to have the right knowledge to prevent further injuries and to enjoy all that their life has to offer, with good health.
